  2. Hey Michael. Henry van Niekerk here, surgeon in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Thank you for your patient reports on remote endarterectomy – they are extremely valuable to me. I am busy preparing a pitch for a major devices company on my little start-up’s patented device that I believe may be used to remotely endarterectomize trans-femorally right up to the aortic bifurcation.
