  2. Hey Michael. Henry van Niekerk here, surgeon in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Thank you for your patient reports on remote endarterectomy – they are extremely valuable to me. I am busy preparing a pitch for a major devices company on my little start-up’s patented device that I believe may be used to remotely endarterectomize trans-femorally right up to the aortic bifurcation. Would love to run it by you , but I don’t mean to impose. Let me know if you’re curious.
Hope you and your family have settled down well in Abu Dhabi – regards.

  5. Hi Dr Parks. Im an Ophthalmologist who is operated for arteria lusoria. The operation is performed 3 months ago via right thoracotomy. No neurologic complications. I can swallow both solids and liquids. But I still have foreign body sensation in my esophagus. I wonder if this is because of the stump compression. My surgeon says there is enough space for esophagus. And no compression by subclavian artery anymore since it is translocated to ascending aorta. I need your expertise. 🙏🙏🙏 Is it possible for you to see my Ct scans ??
